The 2FM broadcaster is nearing the end of her pregnancy, and revealed to her Instagram followers that she has had ‘complications’ along the way – but thankfully Lottie and her baby are healthy
Lottie Ryan has revealed to her followers that she experienced “complications” during her pregnancy.
The radio star is expecting her first child with her husband Fabio Aprile later this summer.
Lottie has been keeping her Instagram followers updated as she has documented her pregnancy journey, and revealed in a recent Q&A that it hasn’t all been plain sailing.
When one fan asked the 2FM broadcaster how she has been finding the past few months, Lottie replied: Pregnancy is good and I am good thank you.

The mum-to-be also confirmed that her due date is fast approaching and it won’t be too much longer before she welcomes her little one.
I wont say exactly but I will say Im close. Im in the third [trimester] and I definitely feel like he needs to come out soon, she explained.
Im nervous but Im more excited than I am nervous so its mixed emotions everyday is different but overall just excited.
Earlier this year, Lottie revealed that she will give birth to a baby boy.
Speaking with her pal Jennifer Zamparelli on her radio show, she said: “I am having a little fella, a little boy and like we could not be happier. It didn’t really matter to me to be honest with you if it was a girl or a boy. I won the bet though between me and Fabio because he thought it was a girl but it’s a boy.”
“He’s [Fabio] absolutely over the moon, he’s absolutely thrilled, so am I. I don’t know what it is, there’s something about once it has a gender, I don’t know I feel like it made it much more real to me.”
Lottie went on: I know the gender. I did find out what were having. I think my mum might have been annoyed because she left all five of us as a surprise. I said something coming out of my vagina is surprise enough for me!
“We did a gender reveal. We had a balloon, it was just the two of us obviously so we had both the families watch us on the phones. To be honest I was more nervous popping the balloon than when I peed on the stick.”
Lottie went on to say: “It just made it so much more real when you find out of its a little girl or a little boy inside you. It just gives it more of an identity I suppose. For me anyway, its obviously a personal thing but it made it so real.”
“It was very exciting, we filmed it and had the families watching the two of us in the sitting room.”
